The Gym Leader castle mode usually falls into the shadows of the game's namesake Stadium mode, but the rewards in this mode are actually greater than that of the latter. This mode allows you to batle through the eight gyms of Kanto, the Elite Four, and even your rival from the gameboy games. You travel through the map to each location. You'll then have to battle through three gym trainers, followed by the actual gym leader. At Indigo Plateau, however, you'll instead battle through the Elite Four and then your rival, instead of gym trainers. Should you lose against a gym leader or one of his/her three trainers, you'll have to start over at the beginning of that gym. There are no continues in this mode. Use the table of contents below to make your way through each battle.

The Rules

-Open to all Pokemon (but you can only bring one of each kind).
-Enter with six Pokemon.
-Choose three out of the six for each battle.
-No level restrictions.
-Gym Leaders will normally use level 50 Pokemon. If you use any Pokemon over level 50, their Pokemon will be of the same level as your highest level Pokemon.
-No two Pokemon asleep or frozen.
-No selfdestruct move with last Pokemon.
