Pokemon Dash is a spin-off racing title that was released for the Nintendo DS in 2004-2005.

Pokemon Dash was the first Pokemon game sold for the Nintendo DS. It was published by Nintendo, but developed by Ambrella. The game came out on December 2nd, 2004 in Japan and March 14th, 2005 in North America. The player plays as a Pikachu that moves its way through different courses by sliding the stlyus across the touch screen while racing against other Pokemon in various game modes. The game has four main types of single player game modes: Regular GP, Hard GP, Expert GP, and Time Attack, but also features a multiplayer mode that can support up to six racers (note: each player must have a copy of Pokemon Dash to participate). There is also a mode which allows the player to create his/her own cups with courses made of Pokemon sprites from the GBA Versions Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen, and Emerald.
